Who is divorce mediation for?
Divorce mediation is for any couple that chooses to let go of their relationship, especially if the couple wishes to honor their relationship and conclude it with respect before starting anew. Mediation allows couples to work out the details of their divorce for themselves, including decisions about children and property.
The Process
Consultation
Find out if we are the right fit for mediation by setting up a free consultation! During the consultation, we will go over the mediation process, pricing, and any questions that you have.
Agreement to Mediate
After the consultation, take some time to decide if you want to move forward with mediation. If you decide to move forward, Spotted Owl Mediation, LLC will provide you with an agreement to mediate. Once both parties sign the agreement, we are ready to get started!
Pre-Mediation Session
Before the mediation session starts, Spotted Owl Mediation, LLC starts working for you. Each party fills out a detailed questionnaire about the issues in the divorce.
Mediation session(S)
This is what you have been waiting for-—-the mediation session! We will start with an overview of the mediation session, calm the nervous system with a grounding exercise, and then get into the issues. Depending on your exact circumstances we may discuss:

Division of bank accounts
Division of retirement accounts

Child custody
Child health/education decisions
Post Mediation
After the mediation session(s) conclude, Spotted Owl Mediation, LLC will provide the parties with a written mediated settlement agreement and facilitate its signing.

Pine Package—2 hr Mediation Session—$500/party
